Abacus is a primary supplier to many school districts, colleges and universities in our area, as well as most of Texas. Abacus is an authorized education dealer for several vendors including SMART Technologies, FrontRow, Compaq, IBM, HP, Cisco, 3Com, Epson, Microsoft, Corel, Lotus, Symantec and Borland. Abacus is a Compaq certified education partner (CP) and we can often provide pricing below National Education Pricing/NEP or Western States Computing Alliance/WSCA.
Academic versions of software are often priced dramatically lower than standard versions. In addition, multiple license programs and total campus options may be available. Academic versions of software are generally available to most schools, public libraries, colleges, universities, and university hospitals. Academic software is also available to teachers and staff of these institutions as well as to students of colleges and universities. Borland sometimes makes their programming languages available to high school seniors.
Several vendors, including Compaq, Epson and Toshiba, offer special government pricing through Abacus.
Abacus is also a Texas DIR , and a HUB certified business.
Abacus is a Qualified Information System Vendor on the state of Texas Centralized Master Bidders List.
Novell has a School License Agreement available. It is a great program where schools can choose from a bundled product package or fit a tailored to your needs package at a per enrolled student price.
